In just one year since its inception, our credit union has made significant strides by expanding its offerings to include essential loans, facilitating the acquisition of sought-after items such as televisions and refrigerators. These services are presented with a competitive interest rate of just 10%, and are repayable over a year, designed specifically for the dedicated staff members of our university who decide to join the union.
During his address to those assembled, Prof. Daniels Obeng-Ofori discussed the multifaceted advantages of becoming a member. "Membership in the credit union not only provides you with vital financial services but also integrates you into a community built on the pillars of mutual assistance and collective prosperity," he explained. He underscored the power of community and teamwork, asserting, "Our strength is amplified by our numbers and the positive impacts we collectively foster."
The Vice-Chancellor also expressed his gratitude towards the credit union board for their visionary contributions that resonate with our university's ethos of nurturing community and support.
