Catholic University of Ghana at the 17TH Ghana Higher Education Fair 2024

The Catholic University of Ghana, (CUG) took part in the 17th edition of the Ghana Higher Education Fair organized by I-Texton Ghana in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Services (GES), National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE), and the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). 

The fair was held in all the sixteen regions of Ghana and was a two-day event in each region that put Senior High School students and graduates on one platform for Tertiary Institutions in Ghana to showcase their academic programmes and services to potential students and also network with other institutions and learn about new developments and trends in the education sector.

CUG participated in the Ashanti, Eastern and Greater Accra regional fairs. The Ashanti fair took place at the Kumasi Anglican SHS with a total of 3,208 students from 23 schools in attendance. The Eastern Regional fair was at Oyoko Methodist SHS recording a total of 2,222 students from 14 schools and the Greater Accra fair was at the Presec Boys SHS, Legon where 2,975 students from 27 schools participated. 

CUG mounted a stand at the fairs, distributed flyers, and held talk sessions to give the students in-depth information about the University’s vision, mission, and available academic programmes.
