The 2023 Professional Mediation Training was held at the Catholic University Ghana, (CUG) Fiapre-Sunyani from 7th to 11th of August, 2023. The training offered participants basic understanding of conflict and its resolution processes with specific emphasis on mediation. The participants went through forty (40) hours training as required by law for professional mediation training which enables one to qualify for mediation practice in the country.

The training brought together fifty (50) participants across the country from diverse professional background. The participants were mainly professional teachers, development workers, tertiary students, businessmen and women, lawyers, religious leaders, politicians, traditional rulers, security officers among others. Participants at the end of the training touted the training as very rich in content, practical, participatory and well organized.
