SUMMARY

Mr. James Kwabena Odum is a distinguished and internationally acclaimed scholar of Mathematics who exhibits a high sense of industry, sterling leadership qualities and excellent organizational skills. I had worked at the Catholic University of Ghana as a part time Assistant Lecturer for the past 6 years and recently became a full time Assistant lecturer during the 2020/2021 academic year. I am an experienced educator with over 14 years of experience across all levels of the Ghanaian educational system. I am a member of Mathematics Association of Ghana and an examiner for the West Africa Examination Council since 2016. I hold a Master of Science Industrial Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Department of Mathematics), Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Mathematics) from the University of Cape Coast from Catholic University of Ghana, Fiapre and BSc (Mathematics) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Mr. James has very high regard for research, teaching and learning. Above all I was awarded the most distinguish staff-teaching in the Senior Member Category during the 21st Graduation for the Catholic University of Ghana. Mr. James Kwabena Odum currently Ag. Head of Department of mathematics and Science Education and with eight publications. I had attended several Training Workshops and Conferences, Training Workshop on Training for Trainers for Universal Design For Learning(UDL) which was organized by National Teaching Council of Ghana(NTC) ; A Trainer for Higher Education-Ethics Model of Excellence Framework (HE-EMEF) organized by Globethics.net Geneva @ Institute of Statistical ,Social and Economic Research University of Ghana; Served as a resource person in capacity enhancing Workshop organized by Dorma Senior High School and Sunyani Senior as a lead facilitator in solving examinations in mathematics for WAEC students: A participant for Enhancing Distance Learning with E-Learning Platforms @ CUG Fiapre;
