"As graduate students pursuing different programmes, you ought to espouse your professional integrity by being honest and telling the truth at all times in all your actions and inaction at your various fields of responsibilities. This professional integrity has eluded this nation for a very long time" This was contained in the remarks of Professor Daniels Obeng-Ofori, the Vice-Chancellor of the Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre-Sunyani during an Orientation programme organized for fresh Graduate students admitted into the University College for the 2016-2017 academic at the weekend.

Prof. Obeng-Ofori urged the fresh Graduate students to manage the time available to them effectively to achieve the needed academic results. "You must be very time conscious and respond to deadlines with all seriousness if you want to succeed and perform academically" He said. The experienced Professor urged students to try as much as possible to avoid certain social events/functions to concentrate on their academic activities to meet timelines. The Vice-Chancellor noted that CUCG has a social and academic contract with students, and that at all material times, CUCG will deliver quality education with value to them. He encouraged the fresh graduate students to do the right things and assured them of all the necessary protection and support services needed as students of the University.

Prof. Obeng-Ofori admonished the students to be good ambassadors and marketers of the Catholic University College, to protect its image and integrity, and espouse its academic and discipline credentials to the outside world. This will only be possible and realized if you take your academic activities seriously to come out as refined proud products and add value to your professional duties. In all, 69 fresh graduate students were given the Orientation made up of 42 MBA candidates and 27 PGDE aspirants. The various presentations made by the key officers at the Orientation programme touched on issues relating to lectures, fees, school regulations, examinations, research works, conduct of students/lecturers and other essential services for students.

Seth Osei Agyemang, Ag. Dean, of Economics and Business Administration (E&BA); Mr. Justice R. A. Ayam, Finance Officer, Mr. Emmanuel K. Kaba, Deputy Registrar; Mr. Charles Arthur, Librarian; Mr. George Kafui Agbozo, Lecturer (E&BA) and Mr. Charles Alex Cosmos, PR Office.
