Members of the second cohort of the Master of Public Health of the Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre has donated two projectors to the Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences (HAS). The items were donated by Dr. Kofi Amo Kodieh, the Deputy Regional Director of Health, Bono Region and Mr Bernard Oppong Danso, WHO Surveillance Representative on behalf of the group.

Presenting the items, Dr Amo Kodieh informed Management that the group was presenting the items to the school to enhance teaching and learning. Receiving the items on behalf of Management, Professor Daniel Obeng-Ofori, Vice-Chancellor of CUCG thanked the group for their kind gesture and assured them that the equipment will be put to good use.

He further called upon all student groups to emulate the good works of the MPH Cohort 2 Group. Other Senior Members present at the ceremony were: Mr. H.H. Akosah, Registrar, Dr. Vitalis Bawontuo, Dean, Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences, Mrs. Grace Nanjo, Deputy Internal Auditor, Mr William Wilberforce Amoah, HoD, Nursing and Midwifery Department and Mr. Kofi Nimo Amponsah, Senior Assistant Registrar and HAS Faculty Administrator.

In a related development, Dr. Richard Selormey, a Dental Surgeon at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Hospital, Hwidiem, an MPH student has also donated a Zoom License to the HAS Faculty as his contribution towards the ongoing e-learning programme during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
